Rail Operators
The only Amtrak services in Arizona are long-distance trains: the Sunset Limited (New Orleans - Los Angeles), and the Southwest Chief (Chicago - Los Angeles).

Phoenix
Valley Metro operates public transport in the Phoenix area, including two rail services. Both are modern light-rail lines:
- Valley Metro Rail: a largely segregated line linking Phoenix and Tempe
- Streetcar Line: an on-street line in central Tempe
