This page provides a summary of countries and territories in Africa without individual pages. They are thought by the compilers to have no passenger rail services, and often no operational railways at all. We would be grateful for any updates.

Libya	There have been no operational railways in Libya since 1965. However, in July 2025 a memorandum of understanding was signed with China Civil Engineering Construction that could lay the groundwork for construction to resume on the project to build a national network.
