Rail Operators

  • AMTRAK
    • Crescent runs from New York through Atlanta to New Orleans. The southbound train exits Alabama with first station stop in Mississippi at Meridian Union Station. Further stops at Laurel, Hattiesburg and Picayune after which the train enters Louisiana at the bridge over the Pearl River.
    • Mardi Gras service The service consists of two daily round trips between New Orleans, Louisiana, and Mobile, Alabama. Eastbound trains leave Louisiana at the Pearl River bridge between New Orleans and Bay. St. Louis and follow the Gulf Coast through Gulfport, Biloxi and Pascagoula before exiting into Alabama.
